Warranty Statement

3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty from Growing Imaginations GmbH

For our Funzy products, we offer a 3-year warranty on the dimensional stability and durability of the core materials.

Warranty start: from receipt of the sofa

Scope: within the EU, Switzerland, and Norway

Eligible persons: only products purchased directly via www.myfunzy.de or official retail partners

Important: The statutory warranty according to §§ 438, 634 BGB remains unaffected.
The warranty is to be understood as a voluntary additional service to your statutory rights.

1. Making warranty claims

  • First, contact our customer service team at info@myfunzy.com and send us a detailed description of the defect as well as high-quality photos or videos of the defect
  • Include proof of purchase date and order number.

After reviewing the claim, you will receive further instructions and the corresponding return address.

Note: Replaced or repaired parts are subject to the same warranty as the original parts. However, the original warranty period is not extended by a warranty service.

2. What the warranty covers

The warranty covers material or manufacturing defects that occur despite proper use. This includes, in particular:

  • Textiles: Seam tears in the fabric under normal load
  • Fasteners: Zippers that no longer function due to manufacturing defects or normal use
  • Cores & Components: Cracks, dents or breaks in the foam, wooden elements or other core materials that occur with proper handling
  • Construction: Functional failures in mechanical connections (e.g. on play tables or chairs)

3. What the warranty does not cover

The warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear: Normal signs of wear (e.g. pilling on fabrics, light surface scratches on wood, softening of foam firmness within technical tolerances)
  • Minor imperfections: Protruding threads that can be removed without damaging the product
  • Improper use: Damage due to misuse, physical force, burns, cuts, exposure to liquids, stains or overloading (e.g. exceeding weight limits)
  • Batches: Slight color variations between different production batches or natural materials (e.g. wood grain)
  • Modifications: Damage due to DIY alterations or third-party components
  • Third-party purchases: Products purchased from private resellers.

4. Your responsibility as a customer

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing through the customer service team. Proof of purchase and documentation of the damage (photo/video) are required for verification. The customer is obliged not to continue using the product in the event of a defect if this could exacerbate the damage.

5. Legal notice

The statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this warranty. The warranty service will be provided, at the discretion of Growing Imaginations GmbH, by repair, replacement of the defective part or complete replacement delivery.

Only the actually defective component of a set will be replaced (e.g. a single cover or a side element), there is no claim for replacement of the entire, unaffected set. No liability is assumed for consequential damages or indirect damages, to the extent legally permissible.
